​​Under the supervision of Professor Shereen Kakish, Ms. Jennifer Hakim_ in charge of French and Francophone Affairs at the French Embassy in Amman_  met the students participating in the East Choice Prize, which is an award recognising outstanding Francophone literary novels. This participation is in cooperation with the Agency of Francophone Universities in Beirut and the Goncourt Academy. Ms. Hakim explored the procedures and preparations for this event done by the students. She also listened to summaries prepared by the students about the selected novels. This prize is one of the oldest and most prestigious French literary prizes. The proclamation of the winning novel will be announced in March, 2025.​​
