Relationship between Hand-Eye Coordination and Hand Grip Strength in Elite Taekwondo Athletes

A recent study titled "Relationship between Hand-Eye Coordination and Hand Grip Strength in Elite Taekwondo Athletes" explored the potential correlation between hand-eye coordination (HEC) and hand grip strength (HGS) in elite Taekwondo practitioners. The research involved 166 elite athletes (141 males and 25 females), categorized into juniors (≤17 years) and seniors (>17 years). HEC was assessed using a manual dexterity test, while HGS was measured with a hand dynamometer. The findings revealed no significant relationship between HEC and HGS (p > 0.05), suggesting that these attributes function independently in elite Taekwondo athletes. This insight is valuable for coaches and trainers aiming to develop targeted training programs that address each skill separately. sportmont.ucg.ac.me+1The University of Jordan+1The University of Jordan+1sportmont.ucg.ac.me+1
