About:

Suzan Nashashibi is a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) with an extensive career in nutrition, obesity management, and lifestyle medicine. She started her career in administrative roles before transitioning into nutrition, becoming a partner and later the sole owner of the Silhouette Slimming Centre, which she rebranded into Suzan Nashashibi Nutrition Consultancy to focus on health improvement rather than just weight loss.

Her expertise in obesity management led her to become a SCOPE-certified specialist with the World Obesity Federation. She has been actively involved in global health organizations, including the Association for the Study of Obesity (UK), European Association for the Study of Obesity, and Obesity Canada.

Suzan has contributed significantly to sports nutrition, serving as a nutrition consultant for the Jordan Olympic Team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the Asian Games (2018). She continues to be involved in athlete preparation for Paris 2024 and Los Angeles 2028. She is a member of the Jordan Olympic Committee’s Scientific and Monitoring Committees.

In addition to her clinical and consulting work, she actively promotes health awareness through lectures, media appearances, and educational initiatives in schools, clubs, and social organizations. She has also moderated global obesity conferences and collaborated with training organizations such as Catalyst Training Lab.

Her dedication to lifestyle medicine earned her certifications from the European Lifestyle Medicine Organization (ELMO), where she is now Jordan’s ambassador, and she has joined the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).

She is also a board member of the Jordan Dietetic Association (JDA), aiming to mentor young nutritionists and facilitate scientific knowledge sharing.
