​Dr. Basim Ibrahim Cultural Salon began its activities on the evening of Thursday, August 25, 2021 AD. It is a monthly cultural salon that is held on the last Thursday of every Gregorian month, and is concerned with issues of literature and criticism in particular and cultural issues in general in Egypt and the Arab world.

The salon hosts prominent writers and critics, and discusses the literary works of prominent Egyptian and Arab writers, given that the owner and founder of the salon is a poet and academic critic, which distinguishes the salon from other literary and cultural salons in the Menoufia Governorate and even in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as it is one of the few salons sponsored by academics who practice creativity and criticism at the same time.
