Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB)

JODDB's cybersecurity and threat detection capacities offer rich real-world datasets and case studies that could be used to train and test pattern and anomaly analysis algorithms. Additionally, JODDB's advanced computing infrastructure and resources could be leveraged for computationally intensive anomaly detection research. By fostering partnerships and knowledge sharing, JODDB can contribute to advancing the field of anomaly detection in computer science and its applications in critical domains.  For PAACNet, JODDB will help secure fund for projects relevant to anomaly detection in the context of network security as well as provide PAACNet with project ideas and data.

Cyber Shield Academy

The Cyber Shield Academy, established in 2023 by the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB), plays a crucial role in bolstering Jordan's cybersecurity defenses. By providing specialized training in areas such as digital forensics, penetration testing, and information security policy, the academy equips individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to combat cyber threats effectively. This initiative aims to bridge the skills gap in the cybersecurity field, strengthen the national cybersecurity posture, and contribute to the development of a highly skilled cybersecurity workforce capable of addressing the evolving challenges in the digital domain.  Cyber Shield will help PAACNet with the necessary tools and environments to build models and conduct experiments.

Fortinet

Fortinet brings valuable real-world data and threat intelligence to PAACNET. This allows researchers to train and validate anomaly detection algorithms with relevant information. Fortinet's threat feeds also provide context, helping to distinguish genuine security threats from benign anomalies.

Fortinet can supply crucial technology and infrastructure to PAACNET. This includes access to firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM platforms. Researchers can use these tools to collect data and simulate attacks, testing their techniques in practical scenarios.

Collaboration with Fortinet's security experts offers PAACNET valuable insights. Joint research projects can combine academic expertise with industry experience. This partnership can address specific security challenges and improve the practical application of research.

Fortinet facilitates real-world testing and validation of PAACNET's findings. This provides opportunities to deploy research in operational networks. Fortinet may also offer funding or resources, supporting the group's research efforts and providing a pathway to practical implementations.
