 the University of Jordan, specializing in bacteriology, plant pathogenic bacteria, and environmental microbiology. She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Jacobs University Bremen in Germany, where her doctoral research provided fundamental insights into the functional characterization of the outer membrane protein TolC in the fire blight pathogen Erwinia amylovora. Her work contributed significantly to understanding efflux-mediated virulence and resistance mechanisms in plant-pathogenic bacteria.

With a professional career spanning academic research, teaching, and international scientific collaboration, Dr. Al-Karablieh has served as a researcher at the Hamdi Mango Center for Scientific Research, a postdoctoral fellow in Germany, and a long-standing faculty member in the Department of Plant Protection. She has represented her department for five consecutive academic years as Secretary of the Department Council and as its representative in the College Council.
