Emad Al-Karablieh is a distinguished expert in agricultural, water, and natural resource management, with extensive experience in drought management, water economics, environmental sustainability, and agricultural risk assessment. He holds a Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management from Christian-Albrechts-University at Kiel, Germany.

Prof. Al-Karablieh has led more than 50 multidisciplinary projects focused on drought resilience, water optimization, decentralized wastewater treatment, and climate adaptation. With over 100 peer-reviewed publications, he has significantly contributed to regional water studies and the development of innovative methodologies for managing agricultural and natural resources under changing climatic conditions.

He has collaborated with national governments and international organizations—including UNDP, USAID, FAO, and GIZ—to address critical challenges in water management and agriculture. His expertise spans financial modeling, investment appraisal, and integrating renewable energy solutions to support sustainable water management.

Prof. Al-Karablieh has provided strategic guidance on enhancing water productivity, improving irrigation efficiency, and adopting innovative technologies to promote agricultural sustainability. His leadership in developing decision-support systems for drought monitoring and resource allocation highlights his ability to address complex environmental and agricultural challenges effectively.
