Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC)
The TCR is an independent governmental body responsible for regulating the telecommunications and information technology sectors in Jordan. TCR issues licenses, monitors service quality, allocates frequencies, and ensures compliance with national regulations and international standards. The National Cyber Security Center is a governmental institution that aims to build, develop, and regulate an effective cybersecurity framework at the national level to protect the Kingdom from cyber threats and respond to them efficiently and effectively. This ensures continuity of operations, national security, and the safety of individuals, property, and information.
In pursuit of creating a secure and trustworthy Jordanian cyberspace, the center works to train, qualify, raise awareness, and educate public and private sector employees as well as all segments of society. It aims to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to reduce risks and threats, in accordance with best practices in the field of cybersecurity. The ultimate goal is to ensure the highest level of efficiency and to position Jordan as a regional and international hub of innovation and excellence in this field.
