Professor Imad (Moh’D Khair) Rashid Hamadneh is a distinguished faculty member at the University of Jordan, serving in the Department of Chemistry within the Faculty of Science. Born on September 12, 1972, in Damascus, Syria, he holds Jordanian nationality. Professor Hamadneh earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2002, following an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1999, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Mu’tah University in Jordan in 1994
With a robust academic and research background, Professor Hamadneh specializes in materials chemistry. His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of high-temperature superconductors, nano-metal oxides, colossal magneto-resistant materials, polymers, and clay-polymer nanocomposites. He is particularly interested in developing materials and systems aimed at improving human health and environmental sustainability, such as modified clay–polymer nanocomposites for wastewater treatment .
