Dr. SUHAD ABU ODEH is a dedicated Agricultural Engineer and food science specialist with over 15 years of professional experience (2010–2025) at the Jordanian Ministry of Health. Throughout this period, Dr. ABU ODEH played a leading role in food supply regulation, public health nutrition, and safety oversight in government hospitals. As a representative of the Ministry at the General Supply Department (gsd.gov.jo), and Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for the Regulation of the Nutrition Profession, she has overseen key national initiatives to ensure food safety, hygiene, and professional standards across Jordan's healthcare sector.

    Dr. ABU ODEH holds a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology (2020) from the University of Jordan, with specialized research in food hygiene and HACCP planning for traditional sweets production. Her academic background also includes an M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology and a B.Sc. in Nutrition and Food Technology, in addition to a diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.

   With deep expertise in laboratory research, public health inspection, and the development of food safety management systems, Dr. ABU ODEH has contributed significantly to national food quality protocols. Her professional memberships include the Jordan Society for Scientific Research, the Jordanian Society for Food and Nutrition, the Agricultural Engineers Association, and the Food Science and Technology Society.

   Dr. ABU ODEH has also held teaching roles at Irbid National University and the Princess Taghreed Foundation, and has published peer-reviewed research on traditional food microbiology and the effects of nutrition on physical health.​
