The Ministry of Health (MOH):

The Ministry of Health (MOH)  in Jordan  plays a central and proactive role in maternal and early childhood nutrition, employing a strategy that combines policy leadership, clinical services, population-wide programs, and partnerships across sectors and with international agencies.

The MOH of Jordan plays a central leadership role ensuring implementation via regulation and clinics, and shaping public norms through campaigns. By integrating food fortification, supplementation, behavior change communication, data‑driven planning, and collaborative partnerships, the ministry is taking a systematic, evidence-backed approach to improving maternal and early childhood nutrition. In December 2022, the MOH launched the National Nutrition Strategy 2023–2030 in collaboration with WHO. This strategy targets improved nutrition across the life course—specifically among women of reproductive age and children under five.
