A new Malaysian patent has been granted for an innovative nanoformulation that harnesses stingless bee honey for topical applications. The patent, titled “ALGINATE-BASED NANOMATERIALS LOADED WITH STINGLESS BEE HONEY FOR TOPICAL APPLICATIONS” (MY Patent PI 2,023,002,147), protects a novel alginate-based nanomaterial system designed to deliver the bioactive components of stingless bee honey directly to the skin.
