A team of inventors including Dr. Walhan Alshaer has been granted an international patent for a new pharmaceutical compound designed for the treatment of cancer. The patent, published under the title “A PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOUND, METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF, AND ITS USE FOR TREATING CANCER” (WO/2025/158476), covers both the innovative molecule itself and its method of preparation, as well as its therapeutic application in oncology.

The inventors listed on the patent are Sami Ismail Mahmoud, H. Nouri Najeeb Alnsairat, W. Mohammad Radwan Alshaer, F. Mohammad Ali Odeh, and S. Taiseer Mustafa Al-Sotari.
