​Dr. Mayadah Shehadeh proudly participated in the International Conference of the School of Pharmacy, organized by the University of Jordan School of Pharmacy (UJ Pharm) on July 30–31, 2025, at the UJ Academy.

Themed “Shaping the Future of Pharmacy: Empowering Education, Training, Innovation, and AI Integration,” the conference brought together experts, researchers, and students to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and celebrate scientific excellence through engaging competitions and exhibitions.​

Abstract:
The evolving landscape of pharmacy practice necessitates continuous integration of scientific research, technological innovation, and patient-centered care to enhance healthcare outcomes. This presentation explores current challenges and emerging opportunities within contemporary pharmacy practice, with particular emphasis on evidence-based decision-making and the expanding role of pharmacists in healthcare systems.

The presentation highlights recent developments in pharmaceutical research and practice, focusing on strategies that improve medication safety, optimize therapeutic outcomes, and support rational drug use. It also discusses the impact of digital transformation, including data-driven approaches and innovative tools, in strengthening pharmacy services and supporting clinical and community pharmacy settings.

By examining international best practices and aligning them with local and regional healthcare needs, this presentation aims to provide practical insights for academics, practitioners, and policymakers. The findings underscore the critical role of pharmacists in advancing public health, improving patient adherence, and contributing to sustainable healthcare systems.
