​Dr. Abeer Al-Qatati won the L'oreal UNESCO FELLOWSHIP - For Women in Science in 2015. ​​The L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Fellowship is a prestigious global program aimed at promoting and supporting the participation of women in scientific research.  It ​is a partnership between L’Oréal and UNESCO that recognizes and supports exceptional women researchers around the world. It aims to address the gender gap in science and encourage more women to pursue and stay in scientific careers.
