  • Stem Cell Therapy Center Wins Second Place in the Prince Hassan Bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence.

The General Secretariat of the Higher Council for Science and Technology has announced the results of the competition for the Prince Hassan Bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence, which this year was designated for higher education institutions, excluding technical education.

The Stem Cell Therapy Center at the University of Jordan won the second-place award of 5,000 dinars for its national leadership and establishment.

Professor Abdullah Al-Abadi, Director of the Stem Cell Therapy Center, praised the center's achievement of this distinguished scientific award, considering it a result of cooperation and the spirit of teamwork that prevails among all the center's staff. He called on them to continue their efforts and work to emphasize the center's leadership both locally and globally in the field of stem cell therapy.




  • The Cell Therapy Center has successfully registered a total of 14 research studies on ClinicalTrials.gov. These studies have been reviewed and accepted, and the details are now officially recorded and accessible on the website.

  • The Cell Therapy Center actively fosters collaboration with international institutions, including prominent universities and organizations in Europe and the United States. Notable partnerships include the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom and the Paris Bone Bank in France.​

  • Researchers at the Cell Therapy Center actively disseminate their scientific findings through participation in international conferences and publication in esteemed research journals. To date, the Center has successfully published and had 10 scientific papers accepted in Scopus and ISI-indexed journals.​
