Rand K. Abdelhamid’s research interests focus on the intersection of multimedia security, information systems, and information security. She is particularly interested in the development of audio and video watermarking techniques to enhance the security and integrity of multimedia content. Her work aims to address the challenges of protecting digital media from unauthorized use, while ensuring that the watermarking methods used are robust and efficient. Additionally, Rand is engaged in exploring broader topics in information systems and information security, with an emphasis on securing digital infrastructures and ensuring the safe management of data in modern computing environments.
Rand K. Abdelhamid is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in the Business Informatics program at the Department of Management Information Systems at the University of Jordan. She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology at the University of Jordan. Her academic journey has focused on combining her expertise in computer science with an interest in business informatics and information security. As a graduate student, Rand is actively involved in research related to watermarking technologies for multimedia content and the broader challenges of securing digital information.
