Research Interests

Lama Rajab's research focuses on Digital Image Processing and Security. Her work includes developing advanced techniques for digital image, video, and audio watermarking to ensure the protection and authentication of digital multimedia content. She is also deeply interested in Biomedical Image Processing, where she applies image processing techniques to enhance the analysis and interpretation of medical images, aiding in diagnostics and healthcare. Additionally, Lama Rajab works on text detection techniques in images, aiming to improve automated reading and interpretation of text within digital media. Her research is dedicated to advancing the security and accuracy of digital content through innovative processing and watermarking methods.

Biography

Lama Rajab received her Master’s and B.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Jordan in 2005 and 2002, respectively. She is currently a teacher in the Computer Information Systems Department at the King Abdullah II School for Information Technology at the University of Jordan. As a researcher, she specializes in digital image processing and security, with particular emphasis on watermarking, biomedical image processing, and text detection. Lama Rajab has contributed to the development of various techniques aimed at securing multimedia content and improving image analysis for practical applications in healthcare and digital security. Her work continues to enhance the integration of image processing technologies in real-world scenarios.
