​The Maqasid Research Group announces the participation of Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Kilani, Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Damascus University, in the "10th International Symposium on Religious Studies and Humanities".
​This participation is through a research paper within the theme of "Maqasid Thought and Humanitarian Studies," for which Prof. Dr. Al-Kilani received a Certificate of Acceptance. The symposium is organized by the Turkish-Kyrgyz Academy and several Turkish and European institutions, scheduled to be held in Damascus during November 23-24, 2025.
​Prof. Dr. Al-Kilani’s participation in this international forum reflects the pioneering role of the Maqasid Research Group in promoting academic dialogue on the objectives of Sharia (Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah) and their role in addressing contemporary humanitarian issues, underscoring the Group's commitment to disseminating Maqasid Uṣūlī awareness internationally.
