Amani Abdallah Harb is a PhD student in the Department of Biological Sciences at the School of Science, University of Jordan. Under the supervision of Prof. Shtaywy Abdalla and Prof. Mohammad Alsalem, the title of her thesis is:

“TRPV1: Agonist-Receptor Interactions and its Role in Lipid Metabolism in Normal and Steatotic Rat and Human Hepatocytes”

Her research focuses on investigating the role of the TRPV1 receptor in lipid metabolism, both in healthy livers and in the context of fatty liver disease. Using an in vitro model of rat and human hepatocytes, she aims to unravel the mechanisms by which TRPV1 influences lipid dynamics within liver cells.
