Dr. Samir Jabaiti is the Head of the Emergency Medicine Department at Jordan University Hospital, Amman, Jordan, since 2003, and has served as the Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director since 2006. He is a Committee Member and Examiner for the Jordan Medical Council Board of Emergency Medicine (2008–present) and a Professor of Surgery who worked at the University of Jordan since 1996. Additionally, he is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Jordan University Hospital. Dr. Jabaiti holds an MBBS (1982) and a Master's in General Surgery (1990) from the University of Jordan. He obtained the Jordan Medical Council Boards in General Surgery (1990) and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (1996) and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1996.​
