​Eng. Nidal Ahmed Al-Shnynat is a mechanical engineer and renewable energy specialist with extensive professional and academic experience in energy systems, water infrastructure, and sustainability. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Renewable Energy) from the University of Jordan with first-rank honors and is currently pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Energy Studies) at Universiti Sains Malaysia. Eng. Al-Shnynat has published research in leading international journals on wind energy and photovoltaic systems and has over fifteen years of leadership experience at the Jordan Valley Authority, where he has managed major water, energy efficiency, and dam operations projects. His expertise bridges applied research, engineering practice, and energy policy, particularly in renewable energy integration, energy efficiency, and water–energy systems.​​​
