A warm welcome to the Mathematical Modeling of Infectious Diseases research group at the University of Jordan. Together, we will enhance our understanding of disease dynamics through mathematical analysis. Infectious diseases can trigger a variety of public health issues, such as localized outbreaks, widespread epidemics, and global pandemics, each significantly impacting health, the economy, and society. The application of mathematical modeling in infectious diseases involves using mathematical and computational techniques to predict outbreaks, evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation measures, and support public health policies. The primary goal of the "Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases" research group is to understand, predict, and control the spread of infectious diseases, thereby improving public health outcomes through informed decision-making and optimized intervention strategies.​
