The Machine Learning for Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision research group thrives on robust and dynamic partnerships with various institutions to enhance the quality and impact of its research. Drawing on the wide-ranging expertise and affiliations of our members—spanning the Computer Engineering Department, School of Dentistry, and Department of Arabic Language and Literature internally, and collaborating externally with the Arabic and Translation Studies department and the Center of Arab Studies and Islamic Civilizations (CASIC) at the American University of Sharjah—our group fosters strong interdisciplinary connections. We actively partner with international researchers, such as those from the American University of Sharjah, and industry leaders, including Amazon, Zain, IEEE-Jordan Sectio

Our current projects include two ongoing initiatives funded by the Scientific Research and Innovation Support Fund, building on a history of successful collaborations with organizations such as the Jordan Academy of Arabic and the Deanship of Scientific Research. These partnerships provide joint funding, technical expertise, and access to cutting-edge resources, enabling groundbreaking advancements in our research endeavors.
We continuously seek to expand our network of collaborations, welcoming initiatives from both local and international partners. These partnerships are vital in fostering innovation, broadening the scope of our research, and enhancing its societal and academic contributions. By leveraging diverse expertise and shared resources, our group aims to address pressing challenges and achieve transformative results in machine learning applications for natural language processing and computer vision.
