​Asma Abdel Karim holds BSc degree in computer engineering (2008) and MSE degree in computer engineering and networking (2012) from the University of Jordan. She is a full-time lecturer at the Computer Engineering Department in the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan. She has an 8-year academic experience in teaching computer science and engineering topics. She has experience working on accelerating sparse matrix operations on GPUs. Currently, her research interests include Arabic natural language processing and deep learning algorithms.​
