Dr. Zeinab Arabeyyat is an Assistant Professor of Marine Biotechnology at the University of Jordan, specializing in marine ​​molecular ecology, and coral reef ecosystems. She earned her academic qualifications in the United Kingdom and has conducted internationally recognized research on coral symbiosis, marine sponges, microalgae, and environmental microbiology, contributing to the understanding of marine biodiversity and ecosystem resilience in the Gulf of Aqaba. She is a Fulbright alumna and Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and international collaboration. Her work integrates molecular techniques such as DNA barcoding and microbial analysis to support marine conservation, sustainable coastal management, and the protection of coral reef ecosystems in Jordan and the Red Sea region.​
