​Juhina Thnaibat is a PhD student at the University of Jordan, School of Agriculture, Department of Land, Water and Environment, specializing in Marine Ecology and Sustainability. Her research focuses on coastal ecosystem dynamics, climate change, and sustainable marine resource management, with particular emphasis on the Gulf of Aqaba.

Her work applies Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing techniques to assess environmental change and analyze coastal processes. Her research interests include blue carbon ecosystems, coastal sustainability and marine biodiversity conservation.

She obtained her Master’s degree studying the spatial and temporal distribution of cancer in Jordan using geospatial analysis. In addition to her academic work, she works at the Greater Amman Municipality.
