​Maysoon Kteifan holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences and Management and a BSc in Biology and an . She has over 10 years of experience in coral research at the Marine Science Station, where she has worked extensively on artificial reefs, coral nurseries, molecular stress biomarkers, coral physiology, and coral husbandry.

She is currently a researcher at the Aqaba Marine Reserve, contributing to marine ecosystem protection through biophysical surveys, long-term monitoring programs, data analysis, and operational support for conservation initiatives.
