Dr. Rashid Issa, a writer and poet, was honored with a poetry evening by the University of Jordan's Faculty of Arts. A sizable crowd of academics, poets, critics, literature lovers, and college students attended the event, which was sponsored by Dr. Muhammad Al-Qudah, the dean of the faculty. The evening began with a welcome speech from the dean of the Faculty of Arts, who praised the Faculty's pioneering role in promoting artistic endeavors that enhance the presence of literature and poetry within the university setting and give students the chance to interact with top Jordanian and Arab poetic works. A collection of Dr. Rashid Issa's poetry, which are renowned for their grammatical complexity and conceptual depth, was presented. He examined the beauty of the Arabic language and its ability to inspire awe in his writings. In addition, he talked about education and creativity, recalled childhood and its purity, and considered morals and loyalty. He also included poetry about friends, lovers, and companions, all of which were written in a graceful literary manner that combines skill and spontaneity. Having produced fifteen collections of poetry, Dr. Rashid Issa is a well-known personality in the Arab poetic and critical scene.
