Prof. Abu Taleb is a lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Jordan, holding a Ph.D. in American Studies from Washington State University in the United States. I teach a variety of courses, including literature, politics, culture, and communication. I have a special interest in cultural communication and authentic forms of resistance, and I am often involved in actions that shed light on the importance of investing in the young generation. My research interests include counter aesthetic representations, cultural identity, diasporic bodies, and unlocking cultural voice. I believe in interdisciplinary approaches as alternative methods for exploring new academic, political, and cultural horizons. By employing cultural ways and arts, we can open doors to cultural respect, collaboration, and eventually coexistence and resistance.
