Obaidat explained that scientific research is one of the criteria for global classifications, and we must work on the continuous improvement of scientific research, and ensuring the presence of research groups in the university is a pioneering idea, and it has good and studied criteria, but we must continue to improve those criteria to reach what we aspire to.
During the meeting, Obaidat touched on the challenges facing scientific research, represented in linking it to industries, and the relationship of researchers in the industrial sector; research plays an important role in the progress of industries, and research groups need the presence of the industrial sector in it, as well as the importance of international cooperation from more than one party and more than one country, and citations between researchers.
Obaidat called on researchers to involve graduate students in research groups and benefit from their research, citing as an example that the College of Medicine at the university is number (1) in producing scientific research from graduate students, higher specialization students, and undergraduate students; the number of researches reached 400 scientific researches, and 42 scientific researches from undergraduate students.
