​​Dr. Faten Obeidat, a member of the Balance Assessment and Rehabilitation research group, has received the UK Science and Sustainability Award from the British Council in Jordan. The award recognizes her contributions to public health projects, particularly her involvement in expanding and evaluating Jordan’s newborn hearing screening program in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. Her work supports efforts to improve early intervention for infants at risk of hearing loss.

Additionally, Dr. Obeidat has been conducting research on balance disorders in patients with Ménière’s disease, with the aim of improving diagnostic approaches and patient outcomes.
