Marwa Ahmed Defends Thesis on Polysemy Comprehension in Jordanian Children with Autism, Launches App to Support Language Development

​Marwa Ahmed, a graduate researcher at the University of Jordan, has achieved a significant academic and practical milestone with the successful defense of her thesis, Polysemy Comprehension in Jordanian Speaking Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and in Typically Developing Children. In addition to her academic work, Marwa has developed a mobile application specifically designed to aid children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in improving their language comprehension. Supervised by Dr. Abdel Rahman Altakhaineh and co-supervised by Dr. Aseel Zibin, her research and app together contribute invaluable tools for educators and families navigating the complexities of language learning for children with ASD.
