Sukayna Ali is a recent graduate of the University of Jordan, where she earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She has successfully com​pleted her Ph.D. at Universiti Sains Malaysia, where her research focused on audio-visual translation, particularly subtitling, as well as written translation and pragmatics. Her work places special emphasis on the role of discourse markers in translation.
