Dr. Marwan Jarrah is an Associate Professor of Theoretical Linguistics at the University of Jordan. His primary research interests lie in language typology and Syntactic Theory, particularly within the framework of the Minimalist Program. He focuses on topics such as A/A'-movement, Phase Theory, subject/object extraction, Criterial Freezing, and the cartography of syntactic structures. In addition to his work in syntax, Dr. Jarrah is also deeply engaged in exploring the interface between language and religion, examining how linguistic structures intersect with religious discourse and practices.
