Dr. Huda Alfatafta is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in prosthetics, orthotics, and rehabilitation sciences. She earned her Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the University of Pécs, Hungary, where her research focused on activity levels and quality of life before and after total knee replacement surgery. Dr. Alfatafta holds a Master’s degree in Biomechanics and Human Movement (University of Salford, UK) and a Master of Business Administration (University of South Wales, UK), in addition to her BSc in Orthotics and Prosthetics from the University of Jordan, where she graduated top of her class.
Her academic and clinical experience spans multiple international settings, including lectureship at the University of Jordan and technical roles with Handicap International. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in areas such as orthotic interventions, prosthetic rehabilitation, and patient quality of life. Her work integrates evidence-based clinical practice with interdisciplinary research on health outcomes, particularly in musculoskeletal and mobility-related impairments.
Dr. Alfatafta brings strong expertise in gait analysis, data interpretation, and prosthetic-orthotic clinical education. Her multilingual background and international collaborations further strengthen her role as a key contributor to advancing healthcare quality in P&O services.
