Professor Ala'eddin Mohammad Khalaf Ahmad is a distinguished scholar in marketing, currently serving as a Full Professor at the University of Jordan. He earned his PhD in Marketing from the University of Huddersfield, UK, and has amassed extensive experience in both academia and industry.In his academic career, Professor Ahmad has held several key positions, including Marketing Director and Deputy Manager at Medical Engineering for Orthopaedic Equipment (MEOE) between 1997 and 2003. His research interests are diverse, encompassing e-banking functionality, customer satisfaction, internal marketing, and the impact of marketing strategies on organizational performance. His work has been widely published, with notable studies on the influence of internal marketing on job satisfaction and organizational commitment in teaching hospitals in Saudi Arabia.Professor Ahmad has also contributed significantly to understanding the impact of marketing mix strategies on hospital performance, particularly in relation to patient satisfaction in private sector hospitals in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His research has been recognized for its depth and practical implications, earning him a substantial number of citations and a notable h-index, reflecting his influence in the field.
Beyond his research, Professor Ahmad is actively involved in academic leadership and curriculum development, aiming to bridge the gap between theoretical marketing concepts and practical applications. His dedication to advancing marketing education and research continues to impact students, professionals, and organizations in the region and beyond.
