Professor of physical chemistry at the Hashemite University (Chemistry Department). He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in chemistry from Hashemite University. His Ph.D. thesis was done with Professor Matthew Paige at University of Saskatchewan. He was a post-doctoral fellow at Dalhousie University with Professors Gregory Welch and Ian Hill. He also spent time at University of California Santa Barbara as a Fulbright visiting scholar working with Professor Thuc-Quyen Nguyen. He joined the Department of Chemistry at the Hashemite University in 2014. His current research interest includes carbon dioxide capturing and examining insoluble surfactant monolayers at air–water and air–solid interfaces.
