Professor of physical chemistry at the Hashemite University (Chemistry Department)​​. ​He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in chemistry from Hashemite University. His Ph.D. thesis was done with ​​Professor Matthew Paige at University of Saskatchewan. He was a post-doctoral fellow at Dalhousie University with Professors Gregory Welch and Ian Hill. He also spent time at University of California Santa Barbara as a Fulbright visiting scholar working with Professor Thuc-Quyen Nguyen. He joined the Department of Chemistry at the Hashemite University in 2014. His current research interest includes carbon dioxide capturing and examining insoluble surfactant monolayers at air–water ​and air–solid interfaces.​
