By establishing this group, we aim to be a leading research group within the university of Jordan and ithe ​fisrt JBI entity in the region. We aim to build and increase our international collaboration and produce high-quality publication outputs. We aim also to be a leading research group in the field of systematic literature review that works toward promoting and supporting evidence synthesis, transfer, and implementation. Some of the perceived benefits of our proposed group align with the mission of Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) of seeing evidence-based healthcare worldwide impacting policy and practice. Through the planned engagement activities of our research group with other clinical partners at the University of Jordan Hospital, we will be able to achieve JBI Endorsement. 

Our proposed group will be in partnership with another centre of excellence in Australia (The Centre for Evidence Informed Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare Practice: A JBI Affiliated centre) which will assist in building skills and capacity across the JBIC through JBIC Mentorship, that may create a sense of belonging to the JBI organisational context and culture. ​Another perceived benefit is creating opportunities of translating some of the JBI resources into Arabic, which may enhance access, utility and clinical application of JBI evidence in Jordan.
