Professor Diana is the Director of the University of Jordan Evidence-based healthcare: A JBI Affiliated group and an adjunct professor at Edith Cowan University in Australia. She had held research positions in several countries including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UK and Australia. Collectively her publications over the last 20 years have been focused on understanding the child and family experience of chronic illness and factors impacting child's health and development. She is member of the Joanna Briggs International Collaboration- JBIC for systematic reviews, the ORIGINS birth cohort study in Western Australia, and The International Family Nursing association-IFNA. Diana has over 76 publications in peer-reviewed journals with high impact factors. Two features describe her research_ it is largely interdisciplinary, and it is international focus.​
