About:

Dr. Zeinab Arabeyyat is an Assistant Professor at the School of Basic and Marine Sciences at the University of Jordan, Aqaba branch. She has completed her PhD studies in Nanotoxicity at the University of Hull, UK. Her main doctoral subject is Biological Sciences. She is a Fulbright Alumna from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), and also holds an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), UK.

As a multidisciplinary researcher, Dr. Arabeyyat bridge nanotechnology, environmental science, and public health. Her work explores public awareness of nanotechnology in Jordan and investigates the biological impacts of nanomaterials, such as silver and titanium dioxide nanoparticles, using zebrafish (Danio rerio) as a model organism. Her studies provide crucial insights into nanoparticle uptake, toxicity, and gene expression changes, highlighting the influence of particle size, coating, and environmental conditions.

Dr. Arabeyyat is dedicated to promoting responsible innovation and fostering education on the safe integration of nanotechnology, advancing its applications in health, the environment, and public policy.
