In the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Jordan, Dr. Mohammad Al-Qudah, and on the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, the Faculty of Arts, in cooperation with the University Hospital, represented by Dr. Hiam Obeidat, a social worker in the Social Work Office, and with the support of Qatar Charity Association, and an initiative by the faculty members. The field training students in the Department of Social Work, who are trained at the Jordan University Hospital, and the students of the Faculty's Social Committee organized a charity day for a number of elderly people in the “Dhiyafa” home for the elderly, who numbered 30 people.

In the presence of the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Reham Abu Ghoboush, and Dr. Manal Anabtawi from the Department of Social Work, the judges accompanied the guests to a group iftar in the university restaurant, which included academic and administrative staff members and the parties participating in the event, in a family atmosphere dominated by warm feelings and familiarity between the elderly, students, and attendees.

The event included a series of medical examinations for the guests, including oral and dental health examinations, chest diseases, and eye diseases, and the provision of winter clothes for all the elderly guests, and at the end of the charity day, the organizers accompanied the guests to their residences in the guest house
