Diffusion Testing System
The
manual diffusion system
is utilized to perform:
In vitro
release testing of cosmeceutical or pharma products.
In vitro
penetration testing to quantify dermal absorption of cosmetic or active ingredients using human skin.

Tewameter
The
Tewameter
which measures the Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL)
is used in our lab to perform:
Efficacy testing and claim support for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, regarding improvement of the skin barrier function.
Safety tests for products as even slight deficiencies in the skin barrier can be detected.
Dermatological basic research.
3. Solar Simulator
The solar simulator is based at King's College London in Dr Stuart Jones group lab. It is used for to
irradiation of PMMA plates during in vitro broad-spectrum sunscreen testing.
