​Dr. Walhan Alshaer is a distinguished researcher at the Cell Therapy Center,​ University of Jordan, specializing in nanobiotechnology, drug delivery systems, and chemical biology. His research is focused on developing innovative therapies using Ligand-guided nanomedicines for targeted drug delivery.

Dr. Alshaer received the prestigious Ali Manko Award for Outstanding Researcher in the Field of Medicine and Nursing for the year 2023/2024. He has also been recognized for his significant contributions to science and research. According to Stanford University's 2022 and 2023 lists, he was ranked among the top 2% of the world's most influential scientists. 

In addition to these international accolades, the University of Jordan honored Dr. Alshaer with certificates recognizing him as one of the best researchers and inventors at the university for the year 2023.​
