  • Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowship (2022-2023): Awarded for her outstanding contributions and potential as a researcher and educator.

  • TechWomen Emerging Leader (2022): Recognized as a leader in STEM, joining a global network of women driving innovation and change in their fields.

  • MIT-Jordan Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation Seed Fund Winner (2021): Awarded for her project on “iPSC and CRISPR Gene Editing to Study Rare Diseases.”

  • Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowship (2021): Conducted research on “Antisense Oligonucleotides for the Treatment of Rare Genetic Disorders in the Arab World” at Prof. Matthew Wood’s lab, Department of Paediatrics, University of Oxford.

  • L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Levant Fellowship Award (2019): Awarded for her research on “The Use of iPSCs and CRISPR-Cas9 Gene Editing Technologies for Better Understanding of the Molecular Basis of Hereditary Neuromuscular Diseases.”

  • Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowship (2019): Undertook a research project on “Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) and CRISPR-Based Genetic Engineering for the Study of Neuromuscular Disorders.”
