About:

​Dr. Mohamed Jamal Saadh, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Middle East University, Jordan. He earned his PhD in Biochemistry from Cairo University, his MSc in Biochemistry from Mansoura University, Egypt, and his BSc in Chemistry from Baghdad University, Iraq. 

Dr. Saadh has more than 13 years of combined academic and industrial experience, including nine years in vaccine production and quality control at the Jordan Bio-Industries Center (JOVAC) and the Arab Company for Medical Diagnostics (ARCOMEX). His research interests span vaccine development, virology, antiviral drug discovery, immunology, and tumor markers. 

He has authored over 250 scientific contributions, including 159 research articles, eight reviews, and two books, in addition to book chapters published with leading international publishers. His recent work has focused on the antiviral potential of natural compounds and nanoparticles against influenza viruses, coronaviruses, and other emerging pathogens. 

Beyond his research, Dr. Saadh is an experienced educator, teaching courses in biochemistry, clinical biochemistry, biotechnology, immunology, microbiology, and organic chemistry, and is actively engaged in innovative teaching methods, including e-learning and gamification. He has also supervised research projects, coordinated academic quality assurance, and contributed to multiple institutional committees, reflecting his commitment to advancing both science and education.​
