Partnerships

The IGERE research group collaborates with governmental institutions, private and industry bodies, and nongovernmental Jordanian organizations, as well as international partners, to advance research and innovation in geophysical exploration and Earth resource studies. These collaborations strengthen our multidisciplinary capacity in research, field applications, and technology development aimed at addressing real-world geological and environmental challenges.

Governmental Partners

  • Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR): Collaboration on subsurface mapping, mineral, and groundwater exploration.

  • Natural Resources Authority (NRA): Joint projects on geological surveys and resource assessment.

  • Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MWI): Groundwater monitoring and aquifer characterization using geophysical methods.

  • Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD): Integration of geophysical and climatic data for environmental and hazard studies.

  • Royal Scientific Society (RSS): Technical collaboration and shared use of laboratory and analytical facilities.

Private and Industry Partners

  • King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB): Cooperation in geophysical instrumentation and technology development.

  • Arab Center for Engineering Studies (ACES): Collaboration on field and laboratory geotechnical and geophysical investigations.

Nongovernmental and Jordanian Organizations

  • Local professional associations and NGOs: Joint initiatives supporting environmental monitoring and sustainable resource management.

International Partners

  • German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR): Cooperative programs on groundwater and resource management.

  • UNESCO and UNDP: Collaborative frameworks for sustainable natural resource management and capacity building.

  • Texplor Geontech (Germany): Partnership for TEXtant® monitoring systems and training.
