1. Cutting-edge GNSS network​ (Texplor Geontech).



The University of Jordan has received a full TEXtant® system as a donation from Texplor Geontech, marking a significant advancement in the University’s research and monitoring capabilities in the fields of geoscience and geotechnical engineering. The TEXtant® system is a cutting-edge GNSS network for movement monitoring that captures highly precise measurements, even in remote and challenging environments. It provides daily insights into crustal activity, supporting the study of earth movements, fault dynamics, and natural hazard assessment.

2. State Prize
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdelfattah Sarhan was awarded the Egyptian State Prize in the field of Geological Sciences. Damietta, Egypt – His Excellency Professor Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt, announced the results of the State Prizes in the Sciences, with Dr. Mohammad Abdelfattah Sarhan, Professor in the Department of Geology at Damietta University, winning the State Prize in Geological Sciences.

3. Letter of Appreciation

4. ​Stanford's Top 20% of Scientists Worldwide 
Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdelfattah Sarhan, from the Faculty of Science at Damietta University, has been recognized among the Top 2% of the World’s Most Cited Scientists in the 2024 global ranking published by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier.
