Professor Hani Alamoush, a member of the IGERE Research Group, participated in the Seventh Jordanian Environmental Conference, held on 7–8 December 2025 under the theme: “Environmental Implications of Economic and Social Development and Remediation Projects – Environmental Balances.” The conference was organized by the Jordanian Geologists Association in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment.
Professor Alamoush was honored to serve on both the Preparatory Committee and the Scientific Committee, and additionally chaired one of the scientific sessions, contributing to the organization and scientific depth of the event.
Across its two-day program, the conference featured valuable scientific contributions addressing key environmental priorities, including air pollution and air quality, water resources and management, soil pollution and land degradation, and climate change. Further sessions focused on nature reserves and biodiversity, environmental legislation and policies, and water management, with participation from researchers and experts representing a range of relevant sectors.
Professor Alamoush emphasized the importance of the conference outcomes and recommendations, noting their role in strengthening the linkage between scientific research and environmental decision-making, and in supporting evidence-based policies that advance sustainable development and protect Jordan’s natural resources.
