IGERE research group investigates the dynamics of the Arabian Plate, focusing on tectonic deformation, fault systems, and neotectonic activity across the Jordanian Plateau to assess seismic hazards. We conduct geophysical studies on basin evolution, hydrocarbon exploration, and reservoir characterization, integrating geophysical, geological, and remote sensing data for groundwater exploration. With an integrated and applied approach, we bridge fundamental geodynamics and exploration geophysics, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration and continual methodological advancement.
